Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to come and work under our agency. This school is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong background in design and technology to inspire and educate students in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
AS A DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER, YOU WILL:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design Technology.
- Develop students' creativity and technical skills through practical projects and theoretical lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain a safe and well-organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in school events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, encouraging all students to achieve their potential.
THE RIGHT DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER WILL BE:
- Hold a teaching qualification relating to Design Technology
- Confident with teaching GCSE Design Technology teacher
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Exceptional degree relating to Design and Technology such as theatre design, product design, graphics, silversmithing, or architecture.
- Teaching qualification
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- Salary paid to scale - £160 - £218per day Fringe pay
