Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join an established and forward thinking PRU in Harrow. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September 2024.

This is an alternative provision based in Harrow who are committed to motivating, supporting and inspiring pupils to re-engage with their education. They aim to provide every pupil with a high standard of education, which sets them up for successful futures.
The Headteacher has created a school that is vibrant with positive attitudes and behaviour, and is a place where staff inspire and support all learners to be the best that they can be. This is a small academy, which allows them to get to know their pupils and their families, building strong, positive working relationships.
They also welcome creativity with Art, Music and Sport to help channel pupils' engagement and learning.
The role:
- Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
- Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
As Behaviour Mentor you will need:
- Experience of supporting children and young people with behavioural needs
- Open-minded, positive and friendly approach
- A caring and professional manner
- Must have legal right to work in the UK
