The successful Business Development Executive will join a leading and established workforce solutions provider, delivering exceptional staffing solutions to businesses across office support, professional services, Transport and Industrial sectors within Temporary, Permanent and Contract recruitment.

About you:

You are a driven self-starter with a consistently enthusiastic, resilient attitude and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. With your previous experience in B2B telephone and field sales within the UK, you bring valuable insights and expertise to the table.

The Role:

Pertemps Manchester are searching a Business Development Executive who will be an important contributor to our team's continued growth. The successful candidates will proactively identify and contact new businesses to build strong, long-lasting relationships with the aim of showcasing why companies should partner with Pertemps to find them talented staff.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Achieve sales targets for new business selling Pertemps as the agency of choice to our clients.
  • Think strategically and see the bigger picture and set objectives to develop and improve the business and reach new audiences
  • Maintain a strong commercial awareness, understanding the recruitment market.
  • Attend exhibitions, networking events and client site visits.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and technical expertise to customers.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, ensuring that they reach their staffing requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with our skilled Marketing Team to create informative collateral for clients.

Your skills and experience might also include:??

  • Previous experience in B2B field sales or Account Management roles.
  • Experience in recruitment is not essential but is advantageous.
  • Persuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, specifically telephone, email, written and presentations.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships, co-operation with, and support for colleagues and clients.
