About the role
The Organisation Design Practice Lead is essential for aligning my clients structures with its strategy, functional priorities, and transformation plans. This role ensures optimal service performance and the successful delivery of their Business and Transformation Plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and evolving organisational design strategies, methodologies, frameworks, tools, and solutions.
- The role acts as the custodian of the organisation's Design Authority, maintaining professional standards and ethical behaviour while driving transformational change.
- Leading a team of SMEs, this role provides expert guidance on organisation design, incorporating cutting-edge principles and benchmarking from other sectors to enhance efficiency, value, and sustainability.
- Collaboration with the Change and Organisation Development Practice Leads ensures a holistic approach to change management.
- Manage complex senior-level conversations,
- Resolve design issues using data and insight for continuous improvement.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, organisational development, business improvement, or equivalent experience.
- CIPD Chartered Level membership or working towards it.
- Proven experience in creating and assessing organisational design methodologies in a large, complex organisation.
- Knowledge of change planning and project management with risk mitigation skills.
- Strong communication and report writing skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Evidence of strong leadership, resilience, and ethical behaviour.
- Experience managing complex change through the consultancy model.
- Knowledge of business technologies supporting the organisation design agenda.
