Role Overview:
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Scunthorpe
- Key Stages: KS2 and KS3
- Support Model: 1:1 support or small group interventions
- Start Date: November 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with behavioural concerns, helping them to engage in learning and achieve their potential.
- Assist class teachers in implementing individual behaviour plans and strategies.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students, promoting emotional well-being and resilience.
- Support the academic and social development of students in both classroom and one-to-one settings.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting to students' needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
