M&E CAD Engineer

M&E experienced CAD Engineer needed to work with a busy client of mine. If you have experience working in the infrastructure sector, using Autocad and Revit aswell as experience with 3D modelling, this could be the role for you!!

This is a freelance role with the option of CIS or LTD company payment types.

Hyrbrid working also an option!!

I'm looking for an experienced CAD Engineer with M&E project experience to join my client on a market leading M&E contractor who are working on a £30m contract in London. The ideal candidate will have experience across multi-disciplinary works and using AutoCAD and Revit design software.

3D modelling experience is required as my client is looking to buy their own equipment as oppose to outsourcing this specific type of design so we are in need of a candidate who can guide and assist with the set up and processes of 3D modelling as well as then carry out all designs on the new software.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the supply chain to ensure all CAD Technicians are using and producing drawings correctly
  • Produce drawings, layouts and elevations to a high standard
  • Support and assist all CAD delivery across design team
  • Complete as built drawings
  • To produce fully compliant suitable drawings to meet the client's requirements
  • To ensure that all project designs are compliant with CDM regulations
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, Stakeholder Manager and more..

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience working on major infrastructure and M&E projects
  • Experience working under Tier 1 contractors
  • Knowledge and experience undertaking 3D modelling
