Main Responsibilities:
- Leading projects in household insurance pricing - crafting and executing strategies to achieve ambitious growth goals.
- Building a high-performing team - leading, developing, and coaching a team of Pricing Managers and Analysts to foster a results-oriented environment.
- Harnessing the power of data - utilising advanced analytics like predictive modelling and machine learning to optimise pricing decisions.
- Ensuring data quality and compliance - safeguarding data integrity and adhering to regulations.
- Building robust pricing models - creating and maintaining models to inform strategic decision-making.
- Presenting pricing recommendations to senior management and gaining approval from leadership.
- Championing customer focus - balancing customer needs with regulatory requirements.
- Managing the pricing control cycle - overseeing projects from start to finish.
- Influencing key stakeholders - effectively communicating with directors, senior management, and department heads.
- Spearheading change - leading change initiatives within household pricing.
- Fostering knowledge sharing - collaborating with pricing experts across the Ageas Group.
- Translating complex concepts - making statistical insights clear and actionable for non-technical audiences.
As a Senior Pricing Manager, you will need to have the following skills/experience:
- A degree and 10+ years of experience in insurance pricing, particularly household insurance.
- Expertise in data manipulation using programming languages and software (e.g., SAS, SQL, Databricks).
- Proficiency in various predictive modelling techniques.
- Experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python).
- A proven track record of applying analytics to solve complex business problems.
- Passionate leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop talent.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, adept at reaching all levels of the organisation.
- The ability to explain complex statistical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivation, a proactive approach, and a results-oriented mindset.

- A deep understanding of the personal lines market and underwriting cycle management.
