Dynamic and leading law firm based in the beautiful county of Somerset are looking to take on a residential conveyancing fee earner/paralegal. This is a permanent full-time role with the opportunity for career progression and hybrid working for the right candidate. The firm are expanding and are looking for top-tier, talented individuals who can bring something special to the firm.
Role Involves:
- Opening files
- Handling a residential conveyancing caseload supervision
- Liaising with clients, fee earners and relevant parties to keep all parties updated and ensure a smooth conveyancing process
- Preparation and submission of applications to the Land Registry
- Dealing with any requests from the Land Registry
- Arranging pre-completion searches
- Preparing and submitting SDLT return
- Keeping of accurate records
- Support of other fee earners and ad hoc admin duties as arise such as file closing
Require skills:
- Solid knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish
- At least 12 months experience working in a residential conveyancing department
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable team working skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
