ICT/Computer Science Teacher
Are you passionateabout teaching computer science and ICT? I am seeking a dynamic teacher to workin a fantastic secondary and sixth form school in North Bristol.
This is a temporaryplacement from September to Christmas, with the opportunity of extending to along-term placement for the remainder of the academic year.
Subject: Computer Science KS3, KS4and A level
Start: September
Rate of pay: £120 - £140 per day depending onexperience
Location: North Bristol School
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Long-term
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and creative ICT lessons to students from Year 7 - Year 12 (if no prior experience of A Level, a timetable rearrangement can be discussed)
- Responsible for Year 7 tutor group, teaching life skills every Friday (according to a fully planned & prepared PSHE curriculum)
- Help promote E-safety across the school through specific lessons and tutorials.
- Foster critical thinking and creativity.
- Marking and planning
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. I am also welcoming applications from ECT's.
- Bachelor's degree in ICT/Computer science or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success.
- Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (A Level experience highly desirable but not essential).
