Junior Acoustic Consultant

Our client, a UKAS accredited consultancy established in 2004, is dedicated to providing acoustic engineering and noise control solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of their clients. Their comprehensive range of services includes noise studies, acoustic design, and effective mitigation solutions. With their extensive expertise spanning diverse sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure projects, they have firmly established themselves as leaders in the field.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field, coupled with certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in conducting sound and noise assessments. - Possession of a valid UK driver's license.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from different departments to ensure seamless project delivery and meet all deadlines.
  • Conduct surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using specialized modelling software.
  • Ensure that all assessments and remedial advice surpass British standards and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Gather technical data from assessments and craft detailed technical reports for clients.
  • Maintain open communication and foster strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
