Active Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding Mainstream Secondary School in Ilford who are looking for an experienced Youth Support Worker to join them in September, on a long-term basis, with a view to go permanent. As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping to make an impact for students with Special Educational Needs such as, autism, social and emotional needs, and other learning difficulties.
Roles and responsibilities of the Youth Support Worker:
- To support students with their learning in lessons, working with them individually and in small groups.
- Assisting kids with learning disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviour, SEMH.
- Supporting students, who have special needs, with their learning.
- Demonstrate skill and initiative working with young people.
