About the Role
- Location: Longley Lane, Wythenshawe, Manchester
- Salary: £55,005, inclusive of shift allowance
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Nights, 18:00-06:00

What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?
- Taking lead of all mechanical tasks and offering support for electrical issues when required, ensuring all plant machinery meet regulatory requirements.
- Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
- Planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS', Balers, compactors, shredders, gearboxes, motors etc.
- Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns.
- Travelling to other sites in the area when required.
- Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.
What are the requirements?
- NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 18th edition qualification- or willingness to complete within 3 months of starting.
- Previous experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mobile plant equipment etc.
- Welding/Fabrication experience.
