My client is seeking a Business Development Manager to generate revenue and build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. The ideal candidate will sell their products to help clients improve administrative efficiency and provide account management to key client accounts.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, and explore broad-ranging customer contacts.
  • Arrange regular telephone and face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects.
  • Promote different products/services to address customer objectives and make presentations where needed.
  • Support customers to ensure their adherence to regulatory, contractual, and law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date log/report of all contacts, development conversations, pipeline business, forecasts, and sales made.
  • Develop strong business relationships with customers to maximise retention and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ideally a graduate with 5+ years in a Business Development environment focused on sales and winning new business.
  • Proven track record in consultative selling, winning new business, and increasing revenue through lead generation.
  • Account management experience and ability to manage and track lead generation and sales pipeline through CRM or a sales management system.
  • Experience in the Private Healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Organised, adaptable, flexible, and a good team player with the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Good analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a tenacious and creative sales approach.
  • Driven and motivated by results, strong presenter, negotiator, and influencer.
  • A self-starter who can spot new opportunities and work as part of a team with drive, initiative, and enthusiasm.
