Meridian Business Support are working on behalf of an adult services company who require a qualified Senior Social Worker to work with children and families to start as soon as possible until the end of September 2024 with a very possible extension.

£35.21 per hour

Hours:
37 hours a week - Monday to Friday
Role responsibilities:
- SOCIAL WORKER - to be based as a part of the Children with Disability Service
- This role is a qualified social work role to be responsible for planning with young people as they move from children to adult services, incorporating some DOLS and CoP work
- Responsible for a caseload of more complex cases, providing advice to other social workers in relation to their cases.
- Participate in the planning / reviewing of cases
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Social Work plus considerable experience in a relevant field.
- Qualified Social Worker
- Knowledge of theory and practice of care assessment, planning and detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and its application.
- Supervisory skills, as may supervise students, trainees, support staff and volunteers.
- Analytical, planning and communication skills.
