Construction Tutor / Assessor

We are seeking a highly organised and qualified Construction Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will embrace our ethos to ensure the highest quality learner completion, delivering high-quality teaching, assessment, and support, specialising in Construction theory and Health and Safety.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver a pre-defined curriculum to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of learners.
- Complete all learner and course-related documentation, including learner files and relevant tracking documents.
- Mentor, observe, and assess learners in the classroom and/or workshop, providing feedback and guidance to ensure learning standards are met.
- Offer information, advice, and guidance to promote learner development and progression.
- Meet company, funding, and awarding organisation requirements.
- Assess learners' e-portfolio of evidence to verify achievements have been met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience of classroom-based delivery and working with a diverse range of learners.
- IT literate with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Enthusiasm and ability to work well under pressure.
- Relevant occupational expertise and knowledge in the Construction industry with Level 3 competencies.
- Continued professional development within the occupational sector.
Qualifications:
- A teaching qualification at a minimum of PTLLS or Level 3 AET.
- An assessor award or qualification.
- A level 3 qualification or occupational competence.
- Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or above.
