Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Suffolk, RAF Lakenheath (IP27 9PP), RAF Milden Hall (IP28 8LS) and RAF Feltwell (IP26 4AY)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30AM-4:30PM)
VIVO are currently recruiting for a Fabric Operative to join our operations team of 15, that deliver mainly reactive maintenance and minor repairs on RAF Lakenheath, Milden Hall and Feltwell.
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety in their workload and who wants to lend a hand to a variety of trades and skills. Your day-to-day tasks can include anything from painting and decorating, general maintenance, and repairs of domestic or commercial buildings to plastering and changing locks. Starting your day by signing into the nearest site to your first task, your supervisor will manage your workload and you will be scheduled your work tasks for the day.
Throughout your work tasks you will be interacting with building custodians and occupants of military housing, so it is ideal that you have worked in a customer facing role before.

What you'll need for this role
Using your previous experience within the trade industry you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of working on reactive maintenance tasks. It is especially desirable that you have experience or a qualification in plumbing, and training in Health and Safety.
You will predominantly be lone working, so it is important that you are self motivated and can work independently. You must also be happy to work at heights and outside in all weather types.
This role is a mobile position and will include driving a company vehicle, therefore it is essential that you are comfortable with travelling and hold a full and valid UK driving licence.
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility???
You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.??
