Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the abilities and potential of students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and learning mentors to provide in-class support.
- Work closely with external vocational providers to offer a diverse curriculum.
- Regularly assess and review individual student progress.
- Support students and their families during transitions to other educational settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check & provide satisfactory references.
