SEN Teacher

About Us: At the school, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with special educational needs. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the abilities and potential of students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and learning mentors to provide in-class support.
  • Work closely with external vocational providers to offer a diverse curriculum.
  • Regularly assess and review individual student progress.
  • Support students and their families during transitions to other educational settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check & provide satisfactory references.

  • Hours of work: 8:20am - 3:15pm.
