We are pleased to be working closely with a reputable engineering company who are based in Huddersfield and currently looking for an accounts assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. You will be doing a hands-on varied role and will report into the finance manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Weekly payment runs
- Matching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Cash allocation
- Petty cash management
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Assisting with time sheets/wages
- Assisting the finance manager with other ad hoc duties
Skills:
- Strong IT skills and usage of accounting software
