The role of Assistant Accountant
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit control - chasing debt then escalating to management if required
- Supporting with fortnightly and monthly timesheets for payroll
- Supporting Financial Controller with ad hoc duties
- Resolve customer invoice queries
- VAT return preparation
- Intercompany invoices and reconciliation of ledgers
- Subcontractor weekly invoices
The ideal candidate for the role of Assistant Accountant
- Proficiency in Excel is essential
- Experience in Xero is desired
