Finance Data Assistant

IntroThis is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis as a Finance Data Assistant. We are looking for a methodical individual who has a high attention to detail to support us in our data cleansing activity in preparation for transition to SAP S4 HANA, Finance ERP system.

About the role

Working in Enterprise Finance Services (EFS) who sit within the wider finance team and will be reporting into the Senior Finance Manager. EFS manage the customer and vendor processes for Boots UK, No7 Beauty Company and connected entities. The majority of our manual finance operations are performed offshore in India.

This role will be critical to the success of our systems upgrade so this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in working as part of a wider team in a major transformation project.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Cleansing of customer, vendor and finance master data
  • Validating data attributes
  • Liaising with our internal program teams and a wide range of stakeholders
  • Updating master records in our current SAP finance systems

  • Strong team work ethic
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Curious and investigative nature

It would be great if you also have
