Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Senior UI Designer to join their expanding team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects on a global scale. As a Mid-Senior UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional.
The role is fully remote but you will need to be based in the EU
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and developers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make informed design decisions.
- Ensure consistency and coherence of the visual language across all digital products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into your work.
- Provide design support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in UI design, with a portfolio showcasing your work on web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Experience with prototyping tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality design projects on time and within scope.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global technology company.
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with user research methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret user feedback and data.
