Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Office Hours) Office based

Due to rapid Growth within their demand, our Barnsley based client are looking for an experienced Sales Office Manager to join their team! The role's purpose is to ensure profit maximisation from their accounts, managing the Internal sales process and team management

Main Responsibilities of the Office Manager

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the internal sales team which includes employee appraisals/one to ones, recruitment and ensuring that the team meet objectives against individual KPI's
  • To act as role model to internal sales team, demonstrating behaviours that drive actions which support sales growth & encourage high levels of customer service
  • To ensure the internal sales team have adequate training & knowledge to confidently service the requirements of customers in a professional & courteous manner
  • Understanding the characteristics of the product range in order to effectively support the sales team with this information and drive increased sales
  • To provide a point of escalation should elevated ownership and decision making prove necessary in the sales office function
  • To support and drive performance for promotional sales activity, ensuring that the team deliver the results required against target
  • To monitor the team activity and performance, ensuring business processes are being adhered to & prospective sales opportunities are maximised through effective quote management
  • Gatekeeper of the customer returns authorisation process
  • Ownership of updating, maintaining, and driving compliance of the Sales Office Manual
  • Analyse sales office activity and produce monthly reports detailing performance with recommendations for improvement & new initiatives
  • To perform any additional duties required to support the business needs

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Self-motivated, able to engage and inspire a team to meet sales targets & KPI's
  • Good commercial judgement and decision-making skills
  • Proven experience in dispute resolution
  • Computer literate, including proficient use of Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
