The Opportunity: This newly created role is based at our London head office. The ideal candidate will be looking to advance their career in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and will have the opportunity to shape the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform group consolidation and produce consolidated financial statements at year-end.
  • Prepare subsidiary financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assist with interim reporting.
  • Manage external auditors to ensure a smooth year-end audit process.
  • Provide expert technical advice on changes in accounting rules under IFRS.
  • Assist in developing the regulatory reporting framework and work with the risk department on ICARA.
  • Participate in key finance projects such as acquisitions, system enhancements, and adoption of new standards.
  • Identify and propose process improvements.
  • Assist the CFO and Financial Controller with month-end management accounts.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Qualified accountant with at least 1-year post-qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS reporting standards.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ambitious and eager to develop skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
