We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Quality Control Inspectorwith previous experience inspecting vehicles such as trucks and lorries, who can carry out quality inspections, with a keen eye for detail.
Working as the Quality Control Inspector you will perform quality checks on manufactured vehicles to ensure that the finished product meets the company's high standards.
As the Quality Control Inspector you will have a proven track record in vehicle inspection and quality processes. A quality qualification is not an essential requirement for this role, but previous experience is essential.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Quality Control Inspectorwill include:
- Inspection of new vehicle chassis and complete relevant paperwork
- Carry out stage inspections of vehicles and subassemblies
- Inspection of quality critical parts and components
- Bodywork, engineering and electrical inspections during build and on completion
- Carry out vehicle pump testing, aerial platform testing and final inspections
- Inspection of subcontract installations including CCTV systems and conspicuity fitments
- Complete vehicle release paperwork for customer delivery
- Liaise with customer for Final Acceptance Test
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in inspecting vehicles such as trucks and lorries is essential
- Experience in inspecting Fire & Emergency vehicles would be an added advantage
- Ability to carry out quality inspections with a keen eye for detail
- Able to liaise with different departments to confirm specifications and requirements
- Possess the ability to identify non-conformances and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Flexible approach and able to adapt to the company's operational requirements
