Legal Operations Manager - Hybrid Birmingham - Full Time

A fantastic, top 100 Birmingham firm, known to us as a client for many years are keen to add an experienced Legal Operations Manager to their already impressive team on a full time basis. As Legal Operations Manager, you will focus on driving efficiency and data quality across the Health Business Group through effective performance and financial management, workforce planning and implementation of new and existing technologies to streamline processes.
Based in well-equipped offices in an impressive setting, close to commuter links, the Legal Operations Manager will benefit from working with a cohesive team of Lawyers, Administrators and Fee Earners to deliver a high quality of a full range of Legal Operations Manager duties in Birmingham.

Duties and responsibilities of the Legal Operations Manager:

  • Lead, coordinate and drive change in the administrative processes to aid in the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvement to streamline legal operations.
  • Ensure data quality and hygiene by establishing and maintaining standards and procedures for data management.
  • Conduct performance management reviews to assess and enhance staff productivity and service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in legal processes and implement solutions to achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal operations with broader business processes.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • To ensure team members use and embrace technology to the fullest.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Implement and manage legal technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in legal operations, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • A commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence and develop relationships across the business with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of key legislation
  • Proactively seeks solutions to problems that may arise, and the ability to deal with issues independently and effectively.
  • Flexibility in approach and the ability to reprioritise in order to meet expectations.
  • Responsive to changing environments.
  • Competent in assessing risk and implementing solutions.
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages.
  • Willingness to travel.
