Management Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated Management Accountant who is actively pursuing their ACCA or CIMA qualifications. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to apply their accounting knowledge in a practical setting while advancing their professional skills and qualifications.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management, and internal controls.
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
- Conducting analyses to make forecasts and report to upper management.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
- Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Developing budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Active pursuit of ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualifications.
- Proven experience in a management accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, with an attention to detail.
- Ability to present financial information clearly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a team-oriented attitude.
