The need to know
- Location: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working)
- Job Type: Permanent, full time
- Hours: 37.5 hour per week (Monday - Friday)
- Salary: £26,908 per annum
The day to day
As the Grants Officer, you will be the backbone of our fundraising team, working tirelessly to identify, apply for, and secure grants from a variety of sources. Your role will be pivotal in supporting projects, from restoring wetlands to creating wildlife corridors, and everything in between.
- Research and Identify Opportunities: Discover and pursue new grant opportunities, ensuring our projects are well-funded and sustainable.
- Write Compelling Proposals: Craft persuasive grant applications and reports, showcasing the impact of our work and inspiring funders to support our mission.
- Build Relationships: Engage with funders, partners, and stakeholders, building strong relationships that enhance our funding base and strengthen our network.
- Monitor and Report: Track the progress of funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant conditions and delivering comprehensive reports to our funders.
