GiGroup Grimsby is currently recruiting for productions operatives for immediate starts within an industry leader in the UK and global fish markets. Sustainable seafood is their passion, and providing the Nation with the highest quality, responsibly sourced seafood is their number one priority.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a production Operative to operate as a multi-skilled and adaptable member of the production team. As a new member of the team in your role as a Production Operative you will receive full training and the opportunity to develop skills and train in all areas.
This client has various shifts available for immediate starts;
- Monday to Friday 06:00am - 16:00pm & plus every other Saturday
- Monday to Friday 5am- 2pm
Candidates will be required but not restricted to:
- General production work
- Picking/packing
- Work on the freezing line adding fresh fish to the conveyor or taking off the frozen fish at the end of the line
- Work as a knife hand on the trimming line
- General labouring predominantly around the fresh & frozen graders
- Making and packing boxes
- Preparing all packs and boxes for dispatch
- Quality checking produce - ensuring it is correct and of the highest standards expected
- Always maintain a food-safe sanitary environment
Skills/Physical Requirement/Environment:
- Manual handling knowledge. Regularly lift and/or move 25kg's
- Regularly required to walk, stand, push
- Regularly exposed to work near packed fresh or frozen fish products
- Excellent attention to detail
