Job Title: Administrator
Location: Office based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire (NG34)
Hourly Pay Rate: £11.44
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Length of the contract: 20 Weeks

Gi Group are now seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to our Public Sector client based in Sleaford. The Administrator will deliver an effective and competent level of administration, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships. The Administrator will also be responsible for inputting and maintaining data on data systems, together with the associated correspondence, ensuring a flexible and adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines and targets.

Duties of the Administrator

  • Act as a point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, and communicating relevant information to stakeholders.
  • Inputting and maintaining data on data systems, together with the associated correspondence.
  • Monitoring data input and printing reports from computerised systems, as required.
  • Arrange and schedule assessments and reviews, including contacting individuals, family members, representatives, and other relevant professionals.
  • Collation and preparation of relevant documentation in support of service delivery.
  • Support administrative function in the setting up of care packages.
  • Responsible for organising meetings for the department, minute taking, calendar management, and planning any administrative work, as required.
  • Dealing with invoice queries in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Answering telephone calls, taking messages, and passing on accurately to the relevant department or person.
  • Deal with all outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Resolving complaints and escalating where required.
  • Word processing and processing documents, e.g. scanning and photocopying.

Role Criteria

  • 2 A-Levels or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment is desirable.
  • Experience dealing with customers or service users.
  • Experience working in a busy, administrative environment.
  • Experience working with computerised data systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • High level of keyboard skills.
  • Highly proficient writing and numeracy skills.
  • Clear communicator with excellent data entry and telephone skills.
