Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire *This role is fully office based- no hybrid option.
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 6-7 months.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00)
Hourly Rate: £12.50-£13.73 (depending on experience)
Our client, a reputable organisation based in Cheltenham, is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong SAGE 50 knowledge and experience to contribute to the financial operations of our client.

Responsibilities:
- VAT returns: Ensure accurate and timely completion of VAT returns, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Bank statements: Reconcile bank statements regularly to maintain accurate accounting records.
- Expense processing: Manage the processing of expenses, verifying receipts and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Construction contract returns: Handle the preparation and submission of construction contract returns as required.
- SAGE 50: Utilise SAGE 50 to carry out various financial tasks and maintain an organised purchase ledger system.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role.
- Proficiency in using SAGE 50 software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective organisational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
