Job Title: CNC Miller
Location: Peterborough

Working for a British Engineering company making bespoke manufacturing and processing equipment.
Role Overview:
As a CNC Miller you will manufacture parts following drawings, that are used in the assembly shop or with customers direct orders.
This is not a closed shop.
Role Responsibilities:
- You will handle both manual and CNC milling machines.
- You will conduct self-inspections of produced parts.
- You will adhere to the defined schedule.
- Work within the planned timeframes.
- Keep the work area safe and tidy.
- Understand and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any relevant information to management.
- Recognise and exemplify the company values and behaviors.

Required Skills:

- Able to work night shifts and open to working overtime as needed.

- Fully versed in Milling experience.
- Interpret engineering drawings.
- Teamwork is an essential.
- Flexibility with tasks.
Desired Skills:
- Lean and 5s experience.
- Haas experience will be preferred but not essential.
- Offer improvement ideas.
- Recognised engineering apprenticeships.
Experience:
- Haas machines (not essential)

Salary & Benefits:
Depending on experience and depends on apprenticeship.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 04.15pm
Friday 7.00am - 12.00pm
40 Hour week
