School Finance Administrator

An Opportunity has arisen for a Finance Controller to join a hard working, successful and forward-thinking central team based at their Trafford Head office.

This is a new role at The Trust and will be an exciting time to join the team in delivering central services to the academies within the trust. You will be fully involved with setting up of new processes and enabling efficiencies across the entire team of finance and administration staff. As the Trust continues to grow their are pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference. The main purpose of the role will be to:

  • To organise, maintain and monitor the School's financial systems and to support the finance and admin teams.
  • To provide solid, reliable, compliant schools finance and resources structure.
  • To operate, maintain and develop the financial procedures and systems of the school alongside the Finance Manager.

We are looking for:

  • Someone with experience of working in a school finance office
  • Someone with the ability to adapt to challenging situations and respond appropriately
  • Someone with excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with other staff colleagues, pupils and the wider community
  • Someone with good organisational skills and the ability to remain calm when juggling priorities.
