Description
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations within the department.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce insightful reports.
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification or studying towards (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial management software.
- Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of financial forecasting and diagnosis.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Experience within a healthcare environment is advantageous.
