Futures are looking to appoint an experienced HGV Service Technician to work a Monday to Friday days role throughout Greater London. As HGV Service Technician you must have good knowledge of mechanical engineering and experience of working on heavy duty goods vehicles. PSV experience on buses and coaches would be especially valuable. We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of electric engines and their related drivetrain components. You must be comfortable stripping and serving electric engines, gearboxes, motors and other components. - Overhaul of vehicle electric drivetrains
- Inspection and testing of engines and transmissions
- Installation and modification of the drivetrain
- Generating installation instructions and procedures

- Relevant experience working on heavy or passenger vehicles
- Mechanical / Electrical Engineering qualification
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Problem solving skills
