Position: PE Teacher Location: Bristol, BS1 Start Date: September

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our vibrant school community in the heart of Bristol, BS1. This role offers the perfect opportunity to take on a new challenge and make a significant impact on our students' physical and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a love for sports.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and competitions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and motivated.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a holistic approach to student well-being and achievement.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching strategies and technologies.
