Head of Delegated Underwriting | Lloyd's Reinsurer | London/WFH | £1XX,000 (doe)
Finitas are delighted to be partnering with an established Lloyd's Reinsurer in their search for a Head of Delegated Underwriting to join their team. You will be managing both the Underwriting team and the Delegated Underwriting team.

Some responsibilities include:

Effectively create consistency and best practice across all teams and platforms involved in Delegated authority underwriting in the following areas:

Onboarding of new and existing Coverholders/MGA and Delegated Claims Authorities.

Manage both Underwriting and Operational audits.

Credit control
-
Bordereaux reporting and follow-up
-
Exception reporting
-
Help with the required management of vendors and regulators.

Manage reporting capabilities for KPI metrics, feedback to Underwriting teams on a regular basis.

Responsibility for reporting to internal committees such as the Customer Review

Committee, the London Executive Committee and other underwriting forums generally.

Monitor emerging and developing regulatory changes within the market and identify amendments.
Experience required:
- A background in underwriting delegated business, with strong understanding of the
- financial, claims and premium processes.
- Must be from a Lloyd's/London insurance market background.
- Strong people management expertise.
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels including senior stakeholders and external parties.
- Understanding of the Lloyd's market, regulatory environment and Coverholder network.
Please note you will be required to work in their London office 4 days a week.
