Who we're looking for

We are looking to engage with truly energetic, detail-conscious candidates who would like to work as a Marketing/Events Assistant and looking to join a busy team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in Marketing Communications. Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate their high levels of attention to detail and superb organisational skills - attention to detail is an ABSOLUTE must for this role.

Responsibilities include:

Supplier Liaisons

A key element of this role is to help with the marketing communications for our suppliers. This involves requesting information from suppliers, creating and managing content, liaising with Pricing & Stock Control departments and ensuring all communications go out according to schedule. The ability to be highly organised as well as the ability to prioritise a busy work schedule is of the upmost importance in this role.

Events

Assisting in the planning and running of our client's and their suppliers' events to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Being involved with researching of venues & providers for events. Liaise with suppliers & providers and put actions in place against strict deadlines. Event communication to sales, customers & suppliers.

Electronic Media

Uploading of assets to website. Create internal & external newsletters/EShots.

Internal Events
Research, communicate and manage internal & charity events for the company

Requirements of the role

  • High attention to detail
  • Extremely organised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS office
