Our client, a renowned International Dangerous Goods Company, is seeking a motivated and proactive Customer Service & Telesales Representative to join their specialised team of Dangerous Goods Airfreight Specialists. They specialise in the transportation of hazardous goods and time-sensitive critical shipments, both domestically and internationally. Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service & Telesales Representative, you will:
- Liaise with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided
- Contact and research potential new customers to generate more business
- Work closely with the manager to complete weekly reports
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and new customers
- Regularly contact customers via phone to maintain relationships and identify opportunities
- Meet daily targets to contribute to team success
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in customer service and telesales, or a strong willingness to learn
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Gmail
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Full 5-year background check and DBS Check
- Full clean UK driving licence
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Knowledge of hazardous goods transportation
- Additional customer service or sales experience
