Location: Hounslow

Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent, On-site

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm

Salary: £25K-£26K (+commission)

Our client, a renowned International Dangerous Goods Company, is seeking a motivated and proactive Customer Service & Telesales Representative to join their specialised team of Dangerous Goods Airfreight Specialists. They specialise in the transportation of hazardous goods and time-sensitive critical shipments, both domestically and internationally. With a strong focus on exemplary customer service, our client is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes and providing tailored solutions to their customers.

Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service & Telesales Representative, you will:

  • Liaise with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided
  • Contact and research potential new customers to generate more business
  • Work closely with the manager to complete weekly reports
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and new customers
  • Regularly contact customers via phone to maintain relationships and identify opportunities
  • Meet daily targets to contribute to team success

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience in customer service and telesales, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Gmail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Full 5-year background check and DBS Check
  • Full clean UK driving licence

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Knowledge of hazardous goods transportation
  • Additional customer service or sales experience
