Project Controls Manager
Circa £60,000 + car allowance
Hybrid (minimum 1 day a week in the office)
Offices based in East Midlands / North West / North East
The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Project Controls Manager to be part of an expanding team with a well-established business, providing turnkey engineering solutions into a wide client base. This is a UK based role with a business that has a global presence in over 15 countries, there is fantastic scope for continued career development and international project control for the right candidate.
Scope of role
- Overall report in responsibility for projects to the Managing Director.
- Alert relevant key stakeholders of any project deviation.
- Carry out regular site visits to reconcile data with physical project progress.
- Work with project managers to provide detailed project forecast for completion.
- Provide monthly reports for financial forecasting to reconcile forecasted costs against actual costs.
- Carry out audits on existing projects to analyse data and measure against KPI's.
- Build projects data to gather ratio information.
- Ensure all actions for the projects teams are updated on the company CRM system.
- Attend project close out meetings to capture lessons learned.
The Project Controls Manager
- Experienced within a project control / management role.
- From an engineering / construction background.
- Excellent knowledge of planning software, including MS Project.
- Experienced overseeing and controlling all aspects of project management – finance, procurement, engineering and scheduling.
- Strong influencer and change manager, working collaboratively with multi disciplined teams.
- Excellent communicator with the confidence to work with key stakeholders.
