Role and responsibilities
- Welcome guest to the bar/lounge.
- Ensure all customers in the area comply with guest policy and they have right of access.
- Check in/out customers via the dedicated portal.
- Prepare cocktails and other refreshments/snacks
- Provide knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations
- Fulfilling customer drink order accurately and promptly
- Keeping bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer
- Report low stock levels
- Placing orders and managing stock levels
- Ensuring compliance with premises license
- Cleaning bar, washing glasses, wiping down surfaces
- Taking card payments
- Verifying age and identity of customers
- Ensure bar/lounge is clean and free from customers at closing time
- Report any defective equipment
- Liaise with contractors attending the area for repairs, maintenance and servicing
- Assist with set up for events
- Complain handling
