Overview: Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation, is looking for a passionate IT Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who sets high standards and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will manage IT infrastructure projects focused on integrating newly acquired businesses into the company's IT operating model.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead IT projects that integrate acquired businesses into the IT framework.

Create detailed project plans and ensure successful execution.

Collaborate with the Acquisition Integration project team and the IT Integration & End User Compute team.

Contribute to improving the IT Integration Methodology.

Identify and resolve issues to ensure seamless project delivery.

Partner with the Senior IT Technical Project Manager to manage technology plans for end-user devices, including:

Mobile phones
-
Windows laptops/desktops/tablets
-
Peripherals
-
Hosting solutions (servers, key systems, on-premises to cloud)
-
Standardise connectivity and security for new sites post-acquisition.

OverseeO365 tenant migrations, including:
-
User groups
-
Permissions and licenses
-
Device and user policies
-
Ensure technical requirements for mergers and acquisitions are met by:
-
Tracking issues from the Acquisition Due Diligence team.
-
Communicating changes effectively.
-
Proposing and implementing improvements.
-
Identifying risks and resource needs promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
-
At least 3 years of experience in IT project management, particularly with infrastructure projects.
-
Proven experience in IT integration, including planning and delivery.

Expertise in on-premises to cloud migrations (Azure, AWS, or private cloud).

Experience in:

Large-scale device migrations
-
IT transition and transformation planning
-
Hardware inventories and reconciliation (CMDB)
-
Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Experience managing third-party suppliers and contracts.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel nationwide and a full clean driving license.

A proactive team player and self-starter with a strong understanding of technical environments, data stores, and backups.
Preferred Background:
- Experience as a hands-on IT Engineer is advantageous.
- Background in small in-house IT teams or MSPs supporting multiple clients.
- Experience in mobile phone transition planning and delivery.
- Proven track record in managing mergers and acquisitions and delivering multiple small to medium IT projects that drive business change.
- Familiarity with engineering, insurance, customer service, or financial services sectors is a plus.
