Reed Practice have been engaged by the business to recruit a Payroller Senior or Assistant Payroll Manager – the level will reflect your amount of experience - to join their successful and highly regarded team.

Our client is open to those who are either a Payroll Assistant or Senior Payroller looking for a step up or those in these jobs but seeking a new challenge in a motivating, innovative and supportive firm.

You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for several of the business' clients, as part of a small team reporting to the Payroll Manager.

This is an extremely varied role, with responsibilities including:

  • End to end payroll processing for a range of clients.
  • BACs payment processing
  • Direct client contact
  • Payroll query resolution

We invite those who have undertaken payroll administration for multiple companies at one time, or complex high-volume payroll runs with knowledge of the following to apply -

  • Minimum wage legislation
  • HMRC and RTI legislation
  • Directors' payments

Ideally, but not essentially, you will hold a payroll qualification, have experience within a bureau or accountancy firm and have worked with Star/Iris or Sage Payroll.
