Our client is looking for a hard working, motivated individual that wants to progress through the ranks of their finance team over the long term, and support in transactional finance duties. Description
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
- Ensure receipts and payments are coded and posted to the correct ledgers
- Processing transactions and reconcilling accounts
- Support the accounting department in day-to-day operations
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process invoices, expenses and payments
- Follow up on outstanding debts
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the team's objectives
Profile
A successful Entry Level Finance Assistant should have:
- Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred but not esstential
- Finance and Accounting Graduates are preferred but not essential
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Competent IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets
Job Offer
- A salary in the region of £24,000 to £25,500 per annum
