Job Title: Mobile Mechanical Fitter
Salary: £43,000 per annum
Job Objectives and Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Mechanical Fitter to operate, maintain, and install new and existing building services across a large nuclear site. The role involves working with minimal supervision to meet specified standards as determined by the contract, the client, and company procedures. You'll need to be flexible with working hours, including overtime and rostered weekends.
Person Specification:
- Strong general knowledge of nuclear site non-core operational practices is advantageous.
- Sound understanding of health and safety best practices.
- High standard of workmanship within your technical field of expertise.
- Ability to liaise effectively with client representatives on both operational and health & safety levels.
- Proven experience of working alongside subcontractors across varied workstreams.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on trade experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting (minimum of NVQ Level 3).
- Full clean driving license.
- IOSH Working Safely certificate (desirable).
- This is a mobile position requiring varied physical activities across a large site.
