  • Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Management Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers the chance for career progression and requires a highly numerical individual with a passion for finance and data-driven insights.

Day to day of the role:

  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Business Partnering team to support decision-making related to performance management and cost optimisation.
  • Engage in planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, working with stakeholders and central Finance on cost assumptions.
  • Develop and challenge budgets and forecasts in collaboration with business units, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Provide KPI tracking, insights against financial/operational metrics, and regular performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial and cost analysis to identify trends, opportunities for savings, and potential risks.
  • Support decision-making through analysis of the financial implications of business initiatives and capital investment requests.
  • Review period-end close reports and control accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong systems and data skills, including SAP, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and BPC. Skills in Anaplan, Alteryx, or Tableau are preferable.
  • Ability to create clear and compelling financial reports for non-financial stakeholders, utilising data visualisation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Clear and concise communication of complex financial issues with recommendations for improvement.
  • Understanding of business drivers and the ability to apply this knowledge to deliver value.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and driving creative solutions, with the ability to move at pace.
  • Passion for personal improvement and contributing to the professional development of the Finance team.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
