Group Management Accountant

Group Management Accountant On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Management Accountant to join the finance team.The company is set up in South Bucks and is in the Healthcare industry.

The Role

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Analyse financial performance, providing detailed commentary and insights.
  • Develop and manage an integrated P&L statement for the group.
  • Monitor and report on variances between budgets and forecasts.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
  • Consolidate financial statements of foreign subsidiaries in compliance with relevant accounting standards, ensuring accuracy of financial data across group.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Oversee the performance, development, and training of finance team staff.
  • Manage team workflows and allocate tasks effectively.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the financial system.
  • Participate in financial due diligence activities for potential acquisition targets.
  • Analyse financial information to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Provide detailed financial reports and recommendations to support decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience: (E) Essential (D) Desirable

  • (E) Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with extensive post-qualification experience.
  • (E) Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial consolidation.
  • (E) Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards and practices.
  • (E) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • (E) Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar financial management systems.
  • (E) Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • (D) Previous experience in a group or multinational company environment
  • (D) Experience in team leadership or management is advantageous.
  • (D) Experience with M&A due diligence processes is a plus.
  • (D) Experience of working with a PE-backed company.
