Junior Developer & Client Support

As a Junior Developer you will play an important role in our company assisting clients and working with our senior developers to resolve issues and help develop our cloud-based software. You will play a vital part working with our senior team in helping us to improve our products and services. This dynamic role offers a great opportunity to work on both development and support aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, ranging from simple configuration problems to more complex software bugs.
  • Document solutions and contribute to the community knowledge base.
  • Engage with the open-source community through forums and social media.
  • Contribute to community discussions, offering insights and recommendations for software improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our software projects.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Practical Coding & Software Engineering experience with supporting qualifications.
  • Experience in PHP, Javascript, frameworks.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for coding and a desire to create.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to tackle challenges head-on and independently find solutions to problems.
  • A team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in an office that has a dog.
  • Car driver due to remote location of office.
