ICT and Communications Manager

A Charity in Central London are seeking an ICT Manager to manage the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's information, communication and technology infrastructure and provide leadership for a small in house team.

Responsibilities

  • To support the Director of Communications and Marketing in the delivery of consistent, professional ICT, communications and marketing support to colleagues, members and constituents - ensuring thatthe organisation's vision, values and objectives are reflected in all areas of work.
  • To manage the scoping, testing, roll-out and evaluation of all components of their Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) strategy - ensuring hardware and software systems are fit for purpose and futureproof and support the aims of the company, and maintaining an IT support function.
  • To support the ICT Strategic Comms PM in planning and delivery of website transition, roll-out/ move to Sharepoint, and other large-scale ICT strategic comms projects including O365 development and use, mobile technology provision, remote access, server monitoring and deployment.
  • To oversee and support the work of the Communications and ICT Officers ensuring that company materials are accessible and appropriately designed, and that apps are developed to meet the company's needs.
  • To manage security and access to company IT systems ensuring that data is protected and stored appropriately and losses prevented. Ensure all communications work conforms to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 and all other relevant legislation, update usage policies (in compliance with all relevant legislation) and ensure all staff are fully aware of their need to comply with the policies.

Experience

  • To demonstrate a proven track record in Network Management, ideally with experience of managing the Office 365 suite, other cloud based applications, Sharepoint, and a largely remote staff team.
  • To have experience providing hands on technical support alongside the team as needed.
  • To maintain an up-to-date awareness of relevant ICT, marketing data and health issues, legislation, policies and procedures and pro-actively contribute to the development of the profile and image of the organisation.
  • To have experience in managing Salesforce, CMS, database linkage (working with bespoke and off the shelf systems).
  • To have extensive experience of managing operations in a technical ICT environment.
  • To be experienced in project delivery.
  • To have a good understanding of Data Protection legislation, including GDPR.
