Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Encourage teamwork, fair play, and personal development among students
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive sports lessons for all primary year groups
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum
- Organise and oversee sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities
- Foster a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards physical activity
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during sports activities
Must Have:
- Available Monday - Friday, 5 days a week
- Hold an Enhanced Child DBS within the last 2 years, or be willing to obtain one through Engage Education
- Proven experience as a Sports Coach or similar role, ideally within a primary school setting
- A strong passion for sports and physical education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
- Relevant coaching qualifications and certifications
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture
