We are excited to offer the opportunity for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a popular school in Bracknell from September 2024. This part-time role is ideal for candidates who are available two or three days per week and are looking to contribute to the academic and personal development of our students. For those with suitable qualifications and experience, there is the potential for additional TLR responsibilities.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to students, utilising 75-minute periods to maximise learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
  • Employ a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain high standards of education and behaviour within the classroom, supported by our effective behaviour and inclusion system.
  • Participate in the school's CPD programmes and collaborate with the ‘Teaching and Learning Team' for professional growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or a related subject.
  • Experience in teaching English at a secondary school level.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and a commitment to the welfare of children and young people.
